2024 Toyota Tacoma Exterior

Toyota patented a new exterior design for the 2024 Tacoma. From the spy photos, we must say that Tacoma will look highly similar to Sequoia. One noticeable change is the blanked-out grille which gives it a more aggressive look. Another is its bulkier size for a rugged appearance. Among Tacoma’s improvements a sliding rear window, darkly tinted glass, and changeable periodic wiper settings are more noticeable.

2024 Toyota Tacoma Engine and Transmission and Performance

As we know base 2023 Toyota Tacoma’s 160 hp, 2.7-liter inline-4 engine and the higher trims like the TRD PRO’s 278 horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine are being dropped for the 2024 model year. We expect Toyota will replace them with a 2.4 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the base model which can produce a maximum of 265 Horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque. And there will also be a hybrid Toyota Tacoma this year which has a similar powertrain with the addition of an electric motor that helps it to provide a maximum of 370 horsepower.

These powertrains are also present in the all-new Lexus RX 350, from which we can expect this year’s Tacoma to be powered by an 8 Speed Transmission. Because its competitors are much more advanced in this case from Tacoma. Rear Wheel Drive and Four Wheel Drive both the drivetrains are present in the new Tacoma models.

Previously introduced Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa will carry on as standard on every model. The display unit will come with a 3-month all-access trial of SiriusXM. We expect Toyota at least this year they provide a Wire Less Hotspot because all of Tacoma’s rivals are equipped with this.

Warranty, and Maintenance Coverage

We can’t say much about the warranties but we are sure in this case that Toyota Doesn’t need to improve its warranty, and maintenance coverage, because most of its competitors offer the same as Tacoma.

  • A limited warranty for the first three years or 36,000 miles
  • Poertrain Warrenty of 5-year or 60,000-mile
  • A complimentary maintenance services for the first two years or 25,000 miles
